Cat Pet Training

Why is cat pet training so important?  Cats are wondrous, wonderful creatures, and are filled with curiosity. They can be snuggly, affectionate and friendly creatures; often content to nap on a human lap and be stroked until their fur glistens. Some are more standoffish and will only allow the occasional solemn head pat before regally stalking off to stretch and preen in the sunshine. And others are just way out there wild cats, hell bent on running straight up the walls in pursuit of invisible prey, knocking down all who dare get in their pathway. While you cannot change the basic nature of the cat that you have in your home, you can change some of his more obnoxious behavior with cat pet training.

Your first cat pet training tip should be to understand why they do some of the things that they do. Some cat behavior is out of boredom, some out of transitional changes as they grow out of kitten stages into adulthood, and some can be a symptom of impending or ongoing illnesses. Knowing which is which can help you to avoid potentially dangerous problems before they become life threatening.

Once you have a basic understanding of the why of cat behavior, you can start working on the things that he will need to change with cat pet training. Make sure that you have a list of the poor behavior, and start with the worst offender first. Try to teach new behaviors one at a time, because too many changes will make the cat confused and potentially worst behaved than before. If a cat is doing something that is possibly dangerous that problem should be addressed first with cat pet training, otherwise, it is at your own discretion.

Remember that cat pet training is a matter of patience triumphing over frustration. Shouting at a cat does not work at all, and in fact will bring up a whole new set of issues. Timid cats will become even more fearful, and aggressive cats may take your shouting as an actual threat, so remember that a startled cat will not always react with James Bond coolness- sometimes they bite.

Do not bother with reprimanding your cat, as it is often an ineffective maneuver as well in cat pet training. Cats will learn that getting caught doing the targeted behavior brings about some horrible reactions, so they will simply learn to hide better. This is seen frequently with toileting issues. A cat will stop using his litter box for a variety of reasons, including illness, so that you must find out why. Finding kitty messes after the fact is a pain, but it will not do you any good to drag the offending furball over to the spot, show it to him and then take him to the litter box. Unless he is a brand new cat or you have moved homes recently, he knows full well where that litter box was, he just did not use it.

Find out why and the behavior should be stopped with cat pet training. Eliminate all causes, including sickness, and then work from there. Some cats will never use a litter box, but will allow themselves to be trained to use an alternative. Bizet, the big fluffy cat is too big for the litter box, but he does scratch at the door when he needs to go. He is a psycho the majority of the time, but for this one, he deserves a good kitty!

Pet Society – How To Recruit New Friends?

There are few things in a game like Pet Society that become essentially necessary to playing the game. Friends in Pet Society are one of those things – becoming an integral part of the way the game plays and of how you manage your character as you level up. So, if you’re even remotely serious about advancing in the game, you need to find out how to get as many new friends and neighbors as possible. Let’s take a closer look at how to gain and keep your friends in Pet Society happy.

Getting New Friends in Pet Society

Finding new friends for any reason can be tough, but finding them specifically to link up with you in a Facebook game can be downright frustrating. So, you need to get creative if you want to track down people who are going to be interested in playing with you. To start with, you should exhaust your own personal list of friends before turning to strangers. You never know who on your friends list might be interested in playing (or already plays other Facebook games).

Once that is exhausted though (and it will be exhausted sooner than later), you should turn to forums, blogs, twitter, and Facebook groups to find people who are interested in joining up with you to discuss these matters. You’ll often find people who are interested in a game only friendship just as much as you. Just be sure that you discuss it first. When you have too many friend requests turned down by people, Facebook starts to limit how many you can send and eventually will investigate you for a spammer.

Making Friends in Pet Society Happy

To keep all those friends happy, you only really need to do one thing – send them gifts. They will visit your home just as much as you visit their home, so that benefit is mutual, but if you are interested in staying engaged (and getting a fair number of gifts yourself), you need to send gifts, stickers, and whatever else you can get to each of your friends at least every 1-3 days.

If you’re serious about this game, you need to load up on as many friends in Pet Society as you can. They will allow you to gain more coins, more Paw Points and a whole lot more fun by engaging in activities in each other’s houses. Unlike some other Facebook games where the benefits cap out around 25 friends, Pet Society will allow you to gain from your friends infinitely. From making coins with visits to getting new items and stickers via gifts, your friends are vital. Get a lot of them and keep them happy.

Why Adopt a Pet?

There are many reasons for people to get pets. Some get a companion so that they do not feel lonely. Some get a jogging partner or walking mate to help them lose weight. Some find themselves getting a pet for a sense of security. No matter why they choose to get a pet, people should be encouraged to begin their search at the local shelter. Adopting a pet is not only less expensive than buying from the pet stores, it can be a socially and emotionally rewarding way to find your next best friend.

Shelters all over the country are filled beyond capacity with a frightening number of pets being euthanized each day. While it is true that each purebred breed has its own fan club, there is an awful lot to be said for the pound puppies as well. Do not let a less than pedigreed pooch put you off, there is no certification for true love.

The best adoption shelters in the country will put each pet and potential pet owner through rigorous examinations before allowing you to bring your choice home, a fact that may put a shelter dog ahead of others in safety. Do you really know what the aggression factor is with that purebred? I bet they can tell you the answer to that question at the shelter. They not only check for health risks, but social skills as well. Pets that show any sign of fear, aggression or other potential problems will be labeled as un-adoptable and kept in the shelter. Others will find themselves looking for and hopefully finding their new forever home.

In the end, it if it does not matter where you find your best friend, why not start at the shelter? Find the nearest shelter and start your search there. Not finding the right breed or the right size dog? Leave your name and number with staff, along with a brief description of what you would like to find and they will probably come through fairly quickly. Don’t get hung up on designer dogs and expensive pet stores. Do not buy a puppy from a breeder that you are not familiar with, because who will you complain to if there is a problem? And never buy a pet from a suspected puppy mill or any company that might deal with the mills and unscrupulous breeders. Adopting a pet from a shelter will save its life, and hopefully, the shelter pet will steal your heart in the process!
