There are a number of ways to spend your time each day when you login to Pet Society. One of the more recent additions that has grown in popularity is Pet Society gardening, a side game that allows you to grow your own vegetables, flowers and trees for use in fishing, decorating your home or selling back to the food store for a profit. You will need to have a few coins on hand to start Pet Society gardening, but once you have that initial investment ready, you should start gardening immediately. The profit potential is modest, but the other benefits are numerous.

How to Use the Pet Society Gardening Function?

The Pet Society garden is open to you right away but is going to be costly to get started, so you may as well wait a few levels until you have some coins set aside to pay for the thing. The key to operating the garden effectively is to know what you are using the crops for. If you need fishing bait, you will almost always want to grow trees, because they do not disappear after you harvest them and they are going to take up the most room. You will also be able to sell off that fruit for a nice profit, something that you can do time and again once you’ve caught your rare fish.

Mastering Pet Society Gardening

You can also grow vegetables which sell for a nice profit and flowers. The flowers do not sell for all that much, but they can be put into pots or vases and placed throughout your home as decorations, something that will allow you a great deal of control over how your home looks. It’s fun to grow and harvest your own flowers for decorations too. Just be sure that you have the time and the money to do it properly and that you don’t grow too many. If you run out of room or end up not wanting that many flowers, you will have wasted quite a bit of coins to grow them and plant them in potters.

If you’re serious about turning Pet Society gardening into something that will allow you to enjoy the game in as many ways as possible, you need to spend some time learning how to manage your time. There are three different Pet Society sports that you can start playing almost immediately in the game. The ball is unlocked from the moment you hit Level 2 (which is done in the tutorial), and the Frisbee will be unlocked in a very short order after that. The third and final of the Pet Society sports is the jump rope, which will be the hardest but also the most rewarding of the three if you can master how complex it is. Together, these three Pet Society Secrets are going to allow you to reach all new heights in the game when it comes to earning Paw Points and landing those tough gold trophies.

Tips for Tossing the Ball

The ball in Pet Society is a tricky sport if you have too much space to play in. The key here is that your pet is going to start throwing it harder the longer you play. If you have a lot of space to play with, you’ll find it hard to stay behind the ball and keep it from hitting the floor. If you have a big house, go to a smaller house of a friend somewhere to play so that you can use the walls as locations for it bounce off of.

Tips for the Frisbee

The same holds true for the Frisbee, except this one is absolutely vital that you have a small house for. The Frisbee travels faster and is smaller, so it is harder to click on if your reflexes are not top notch. Make sure to have as little space as possible and you’ll be okay though.

Tips for the Jump Rope

The jump rope is a tough one to master if you’re not careful because the game gives you almost no time to react to the red line that pops up telling you to jump. So, instead of relying on that line, look for the rope to pass over the pet’s eyebrows. When it gets to that point, click the rope to jump and by the time the reaction gets through you should be good. Your own reaction time may be faster or slower, so if this doesn’t work for you, adjust as necessary, making sure to find a good visual reference point to keep your rhythm going.

As you can see, there are a lot of different things you can do in Pet Society, not the least of which are the Pet Society sports. These sports will allow you to have fun with your pet, engage with a variety of different fun actions and to gain much needed Paw Points with easily repeated actions that won’t max out each day. If you’re bored enough or are good with the ball or Frisbee, you can reach the top levels in no time flat, just playing Pet Society sports.

Well the kids are back at school, the weather is getting cooler, alas summer is coming to an end.  It’s been a busy first summer for Pets Bureau.  There have been many many happy reunifications, but to go along side all the happy endings there are of course those which didn’t end so happily or in some cases the nightmares still haven’t ended.

I’m sure many of you have been away on holiday this summer and left your beloved pet in a Cattery or Kennels, but let me ask you, did you do your homework and research the business that you left your pet with?

It may surprise you to know that even with the stringent laws and regulations in place for businesses such as Catteries and Kennels some, not all, fail to provide adequate care for your pet.

There have been numerous cases from pet owners who had left their Cat or Dog in a Cattery or Kennel while going away on holiday, then on return to find that their beloved pet has gone missing!  As a fellow animal lover I was shocked and appalled to hear these distressing stories.  But what distressed me even more was the lack of help and support some of these businesses offered after the unthinkable had happened.

One case in particular which spurred this piece on was the case of a Pets Bureau member whose cat escaped from a carrier and ran off.  The Cattery insisted the cage was shut securely much to the owners disbelief.  The owner returned to the Cattery to see if there was any news of her cat and to search because the Cattery had offered no assistance only to be confronted by staff who proceeded to ban her from the premises!

Most recently we had a Pets Bureau member contact us to register a lost dog, this case was most bizarre.  The person was looking to rehome a Dalmatian and had been visiting each day to go for walks and bond.  The day they were due to collect the dog to finally take her home they were met with shock and horror when the owner of the business told them “you already have her as she is not here.”

It really does leave you lost for words when you think about how we put our pets in possible harm’s way when we leave them with a carer without researching first so next time you decide you leave your beloved pet in the care of someone else, remember to research before deciding on a place.

The majority of Catteries and Kennels are respectable and trustworthy and will take care of your pet to the highest standard, but there are those which will sometimes endanger your pets, intentional or not, by not following protocol, regulations and the law.

So in future, if you want to leave your pet with a carer, research!

The child is the one that asked for the pet. The child is the one that picked out the exact pet that was brought home. And the child is the reason that the dog shakes his head in shame when he has to respond to Plankton as his name. But, that dog or the cat or any other pet that manages to make it into your home is not just the sole responsibility of the child, is it? Like it or not, they become part of the family and as such, are the responsibility of everybody, at least partially. Despite protesting against it, you find yourself feeding the cat or walking the dog from time to time, but does that necessarily mean that your child is shirking his duties? Not really, if one child needed a drink of water, would you really make him wait for it?

Before you even allow a pet to come into your door, sit down with your child lay down the rules and obligations that will be expected of him. Make sure he knows how much food the pet will need, and how often. Make a clear chart with pictures for younger children, or clearly worded directions for older kids. Include rewards and punishments for failing to meet any obligations, for example, if the child does walk the dog on their day, then that child loses TV time. Teaching your child to meet obligations and duties is important to turning out responsible adults.

Remember though, that children will actually forget certain things in pet care, no matter how much they love their furry friend. There might be times when your child is sick, or too busy with schoolwork or extracurricular activities to fulfill all of his obligations. On those occasions, it will be up to you to step in and help the child out. Ultimately, as head of the family, all of the members are your responsibility and that means the feline, canine or miscellaneous additions as well. If you are completely unwilling to step in and take over any aspect of pet care for any length of time, you may want to reconsider allowing a pet at that time.

No matter how well the child does take care of his pet, you must also understand that the financial burden will most likely be on you. You will have to maintain his diet, his vet bills and the other costs of pet ownership, unless you are planning on sending your child out to find a job!

Whether it’s a goldfish, a hamster, rabbit, or a bigger animal such as a cat or a dog, all pets require a high degree of pet care to make them thrive and stay healthy.

Too many people who live in either mountainous or hilly territory choose not to walk their dogs, which can result in two detrimental situations: one, the dog will not get the appropriate amount of exercise and can suffer failing health; and two, those dogs (or cats) that are able to run free in a fenced in backyard may still be hunted down and killed by a coyote or some other wild animal that inhabits the hills.

One of the best things a person can do for their pet, especially if the animal turns up missing for some reason, is to put a microchip in the animal’s ear, a procedure done by a veterinarian that doesn’t cause any pain or harm.

And, not only will using this microchip technology prevent more pets from getting lost and not returned to their rightful owners, but it also helps in the realm of animal rescue – there are so many dogs and cats that infiltrate the local pound, and many of them are runaways from their home that are put down and never found due to not having some type of identification on them.

A simple collar does not suffice these days because it’s too easy for someone to either slip it off, or for the pet to lose it on his journey in the big world.

The second thing a person can do for pet care is to learn to make their pet his favorite kind of food.

Recipes are aplenty that deal with how to make organic and healthy natural food for one’s beloved animal.

Many people have turned to making their own dog or cat food for their pets for two reasons – one, it gives them a closer bond with their pet; and two, the pet owner knows that he’s feeding his animal the right food that is full of nutrition, and will serve to prolong the life of the pet.

Whether it is rescuing an animal to make into a pet or just starting a goldfish tank, all pets need loving and nurturing to make up their regimen of pet care. Those who choose not to participate in this will find their pets suffering as a result.
