Companies and European consumers are willing to adopt LTE applications
An analysis of Bell Labs shows that LTE applications can generate new revenue streams for service providers
Paris, October 20, 2010 – The European telecoms operators could increase 10% revenues from consumers and 30% of those generated by businesses of Small Business Loan , as and when that becomes more widespread adoption of LTE. This emerges from a large European study conducted by Alcatel-Lucent (Euronext Paris and NYSE: ALU) and indicates a strong support and strong demand for applications implemented? From the results of this study, the team of Bell Labs, Alcatel-Lucent in charge of economic modeling ‘Network Planning, Performance and Economic Analysis has confirmed that the interest in new applications could become LTE a business opportunity and an important source of revenue for service providers. The results also reveal that the greatest benefits would be achieved by opting for a market entry strategy and Unsecured Loan based on applications neatly packaged and priced. LTE applications included in the study were very well received in the three European countries, especially in large and medium enterprises. Besides cloud computing mobile (mobile cloud), the firms surveyed are also very interested in mobile collaboration and multi-party videoconferencing.
